Pre-Opening PCHi China

Preparations are in full swing - our stand is taking shape and the final details are being coordinated. PCHi 2026 opens its doors today in Hangzhou - and the pre-opening already shows where the cosmetics industry is heading. Initial discussions, impressions and encounters make it clear: biotechnology and fermentation in particular are more in focus than ever.

Even before the official start of the trade fair, it is clear that the trend towards sustainable, scientifically based active ingredients is continuing to grow. Solutions that not only address individual effects but also support the skin holistically are particularly in demand.

This is precisely where ecosystemic fermentation takes center stage. The approach of specifically controlling complex microbiological systems meets the current need for multifunctional, biologically effective ingredients. Initial discussions show a growing interest in post-biotic active ingredient complexes that simultaneously address the skin barrier, microbiome and cell communication.

The pre-opening makes it clear that the industry is moving away from isolated active ingredients and towards intelligent, networked systems.
