EcoVadis: benchmark for sustainability and corporate responsibility
EcoVadis is a leading global sustainability rating system that helps companies measure and improve their environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. With more than 100,000 rated companies from over 175 countries, EcoVadis provides a comprehensive and reliable platform that creates transparency and supports companies on their way to greater sustainability.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis was founded in 2007 and has since developed into one of the most trusted standards for assessing sustainability. The EcoVadis methodology is based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and ISO 26000. EcoVadis assesses companies in four key areas:
- Environment: Measures to reduce the ecological footprint, resource efficiency and environmental protection.
- Labor and human rights: working conditions, social responsibility, respect for human rights and fair business practices.
- Ethics: Integrity and ethical management, including corruption prevention and transparency.

How does the EcoVadis assessment work?
The EcoVadis assessment is carried out using a structured questionnaire that is tailored to the industry, size and location of the company. Companies submit documents and evidence that are reviewed by EcoVadis analysts. The results are presented in a scorecard format that assigns a score from 0 to 100 and places the company in one of four medal tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum.
Bronze: Companies that meet basic sustainability standards.
Silver: Companies with advanced sustainability practices.
Gold: Companies that deliver outstanding performance in terms of sustainability.

GMP certification: guarantee for the highest quality standards
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification stands for the highest quality standards in the manufacture of products, particularly in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food sectors. These internationally recognized guidelines ensure that products are manufactured under strictly controlled conditions to guarantee their safety, efficacy and quality. European Natural and Organic Cosmetics Interest Grouping A.I.S.B.L. (NATRUE): A seal of quality for genuine natural cosmetics
