Biotechnological active ingredients at PCHi: Fermentation shapes the next generation of skincare
From March 18-20, 2026, the international cosmetics industry will meet in Hangzhou, China, for the Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) trade fair. The event is regarded as one of the most important platforms for innovations in the field of cosmetic raw materials and brings together formulators, brands and active ingredient manufacturers from all over the world.
One trend is particularly clear: biotechnological active ingredients are becoming increasingly important. Sustainable, highly effective and scientifically based ingredients are shaping the next generation of modern skincare.
